Functions
A LaunchBox plugin written by Timber and maintained by both Timber and gschmidl performs several useful functions.
Installed Games Playlist
The primary function is to check and see which games have been installed by the user. This in turn auto populates a playlist of all installed games. Users of the lite version of one of our projects can use this to filter down to just games they have downloaded and set up.

Upon the first time a project is launched the plug-in will display a message. It explains some of the basic questions that get brought up the most in our Discord. A link the website's full FAQ is also offered. Upon closing this window a text file is generated in
.\<PrimaryProjectFolder>\exo\util\
with the name
FAQread.txt
If this file exists on start-up, the message will not be displayed.
Updating the Plugin
If you are experiencing any issues with the plugin, the latest version may include fixes that are not present in the one that is currently installed.
Updating the plugin can be done using the following process:
- Download the latest version of the plugin here: https://www.retro-exo.com/eXoPlugin.dll
- Exit out of LaunchBox
- Replace the existing file in .\<PrimaryProjectFolder>\Plugins\
